Our Quality Policy

Through continuous improvement, we provide products and services that ensure customer satisfaction.

System Design Documentation and Technical Data Support

Using CAD software both electronic and interactive products are produced for all engineering tasks and developed systems. Arcata's engineering practices require that all the design activities be validated. These processes include complete documentation to verify proper design activities. MIL-STD-498 and its Data Item Descriptions (DIDs) are used when applicable as references when producing the required documents. Examples of hardware documentation are: Hardware Development Plan, System/ Subsystem Specification, Hardware Requirements Specification, Hardware Test Plan, Hardware Test Description, Hardware Test Report, Engineering Drawing Package, Computer Operation Manual, Firmware Support Manual, Operations & Maintenance Manual, and Installed Drawing Updates. Drawings and technical documentation are generated based on an Engineering Change Request (ECR), a Software Change Request (SCR), a new system design, or a verification and validation audit.

Community

Arcata is committed to giving back to the communities in which we work and live. We have strived to be community supporters not only at our headquarters, Las Vegas, but across all our work locations. As corporate citizens who understand the synergy between education, social services, and industry, we invest in programs and organizations in the areas that our employees and customers have passionately demonstrated an interest. Over the years, these interests have included: science and technology, education, youth services, health-related causes, military support, the cultural arts and support of the homeless. We encourage not only monetary support but volunteer support as well.

To illustrate our commitment, we run four United Way Campaigns each year across four states and have been recognized as a United Way Pacesetter in Alabama, Nevada, and Mississippi, as well as a Top 100 Donor in Southern Nevada. We organize and hold a charity golf tournament each year to benefit local charities in the Antelope and Victor Valley areas. We have also been a platinum sponsor of a FIRST Robotics Team and a President's Club Sponsor of the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.Candlelighters-Walk-Team-cr
